Ricki Ainbinder

Ricki Ainbinder is a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist (LMT) practicing in Stamford Connecticut. She is certified in Medical Massage,  Prenatal Massage, Postpartum Massage and Fertility Massage. Ricki is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CEIM) (CIMI) and a Certified Prenatal Hatha Yoga Instructor.

Practicing in a clinical setting for the past 18 years, Ricki has worked among doctors, acupuncturists and chiropractors. This has given Ricki the unique opportunity to treat her clients by integrating massage with various other modalities.

Ricki holds a B.A. from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts and a graduate certificate from The Galan Institute of Massage Therapy. In addition, Ricki's other professional studies include, Spinning Babies workshop, Craniosacral I, Laban Bartenieff Movement Analysis, Yoga, Anatomy and Physiology, and Dance.  Ricki is a member in good standing with the following professional organizations:

 Ricki is an avid  skier, biker, hiker and  yogini. She is  the mother of two humans, two cats, and a dog.  In her spare time Ricki enjoys taking  long walks with her husband Scott and their dog Sadie at the Mianus River Park.

  Introducing Shternie!

Shternie Weingarten is a licensed (LMT) and certified massage therapist in the state of Connecticut with experience in both medical and spa-based environments.

Shternie received her prenatal/postpartum certificate through the NCBTMB approved continuing education course MotherMassage by Elaine Stillerman.  In addition, Shternie has been training with Ricki Ainbinder at Mother Nurture Massage Therapy and Bodywork. Among Shternie's other pursuits, Shternie is studying Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Roger Gilchrist, a leading educator in the field.

Before gaining her massage license, Shternie worked for nine years, as a preschool teacher. Shternie continues to work with children as a youth director for Young Israel of Stamford.  

Shternie is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute in Westport Connecticut and a member of the AMTA/American Massage Therapy Association.
